Before blogging about any more of our Fall festivities, I thought I would wrap our Summer up in photos. The pics are a few months old, but better late than never!
Camille's first ponytail! She loves to have her hair fixed now. It's about time! I can't believe how different she looks with her hair back.
Loves to play with her magnetic dress-up ballerina. Scored this at a rummage sale this summer. I love to see how she dresses her up, for some reason she always puts this blue shirt on her head. I shouldn't be surprised, this girl always makes a fashion statement!
Family hike
Went on a boat tour on the Milwaukee River. We picked the perfect day for it and it was a fabulous and relaxing time as a family, plus we got to learn more about Milwaukee's great history!
Hanging out with Andrew
Nick was out of town for a whole week working at a clinic for school. We (me especially!) were sad to be alone all week. The worst part was Nick was gone for Camille's second birthday. We celebrated that weekend instead.
On her birthday I still tried to make it special. We had to go to the dr for a checkup and she unfortunately had to get shots :(
I let her open her gifts from her grandparents. I think she loved her cards the best, she carried them all around for days, and asked us to read them to her over and over.
I didn't make a cake since we were celebrating her birthday later, so when Jen brought cupcakes over for birthday I let her have at it. Yes, she ate the tops off of 6 cupcakes. :)
I did make her a cake, but it was a sad attempt on my part. Next year perhaps it will be a bit more fancy! She loves pink, so I used a box of red velvet cake mix and put on pink frosting with 2 pink candles.
Just realized Elle is a bit MIA in these pictures. She will make an appearance soon!

It's that time of year again...
We tried for some family pictures for our Christmas card. I picked out our outfits, did everyone's hair and set out with visions of the perfect pictures. I left frustrated and tired after almost 800 pictures (I admit I'm a little click-happy. I go for quantity, hoping to capture a few quality!). Nick said, "don't worry honey, there's got to be at least a few good ones". He might be in for a surprise then! Oh well, maybe I'll find them funny a few years down the road? Life documented at it's finest.
