We went to a school halloween carnival. Didn't go all out with our costumes, but I cannot get enough of my little panda bear!!!
Camille had a great time trying to get more suckers, her favorite. (not so much mom and dad's favorite for her). She saved up her tokens from all of the games and picked out a bouncy ball with a scary face on it. I think she thought it was candy :)
Our ward halloween party was super fun as usual. Camille was Alice in Wonderland.
We have had face paint for awhile now and I have never used it. When I decided to dress up as a mime I thought I would finally give it a try. It turned out a little more scary than I anticipated. :)
No family theme. Chuck Norris, Alice in Wonderland, Giraffe, Mime. I feel like this is a set up for a good joke.
This was taken right after Madux saw my face paint for the first time. I told you it was scary! :)
Honestly I couldn't take anything Nick said seriously all night dressed like this. Nick's "Chuck Norris's Kickin Hot Chili" won first place in the chili cook off and he couldn't have been happier about that.
Our brown-noser :)
Big Alice meets little Alice
The weekend before Halloween was Ryker's birthday so we headed down to Chicago to go to Legoland to celebrate. Much cooler than I expected!
Camille's first 3D movie. She freaked out when the "monster" started coming towards us.
A toothbrush if you couldn't tell :)
Fun little ride, I think this was Camille's first one.
They had trick-or-treating for legos, at the end you could make a cute little frankenstein out of the parts!
Nick helping Camille build a lego car with the pink "girl" legos so she could race it down the tracks
What an awesome dad!
Lego ride
I failed to get pictures, but to round out our Halloween festivities, we went trick or treating at the medical school (man do they ever go all out! I think we came home with 10 lbs of candy, no joke!) and then had friends over for a "spooky dinner". Lots of fun, I love this time of year!!
Here's a few pics of the girls in their first jogging stroller ride together. It was slightly chilly but overall a beautiful sunny day.
Gorgeous fall in Wisconsin.

Fall out!
Winter is fast approaching, so I'll try to quickly get all my fall fun pictures up!
Had a fun kid's craft day making bats and eating yummy food. I didn't manage to get a picture of the whole crew together (I always forget, I hate that!) but here's a pic of Cam with her cousins and their bats
We tried a few different times for pictures in the leaves. If I have low expectations for cooperative kids, it usually turns out okay! :)

Love this guy.
I don't tell Nick as often as I should, but I know he is an amazing man and I really do love him. I may get sappy, so don't say you haven't been forewarned if you keep reading....
I love Nick. He is a wonderful husband. So thoughtful, kind, works hard to keep our marriage a happy one. So grateful I get to be with him for eternity. I'm always finding new reasons why I appreciate him, and he's always giving me opportunities to see what a great guy he is.
He has a tender heart. I give him a hard time about being the "softy parent" that will give in to our pleading toddler, but that aside he really is kind hearted. He is the first one to shed a tear in a sad movie and really doesn't want anything bad to happen to anyone.
Nick is smart. He does so well at school and makes it all look like a cinch. I'm certainly glad he will is the one that will provide for our family, he will succeed at anything he puts his mind to.
He always comes through for me. Along with anyone else that ever needs help, Nick is your man. Taking care of other people's kids, helping with computer problems, moving people in or out...there's not anything he wouldn't do to help someone in need.
He makes me laugh. When I first met him I was knee deep in dental hygiene school, and in the middle of a bit of a broken heart from an ended relationship. Living away from my family and friends, I know I was down and needed someone to lift me up. His bright smile and quick jokes came just at the right time and brought a light to my life that continues to shine through.
Children (especially ours!) love him. Pretty sure I've never met a kid that doesn't just love this guy. More than once I have heard little kids say "Hi Nick!" in sacrament meeting a bit loud. :) Camille runs to him when he gets home from school and loves to snuggle with her daddy. Eleanor's face just lights up when he smiles at her and they like to have a contest to see who can smile bigger.
Nick won't claim to be artsy by any means, but every so often he surprises me. When he brings me breakfast in bed (yes, this happens several times a year!) he always adds a beautiful touch such as cutting a strawberry and fanning it out for garnish. I'll thank his mother for that one, I still serve our dinners on the table out of the pots I cooked them in!
Another example of his artsy-ness....a beautiful picture he took:
He really is wonderful, and if you don't have the privilege of knowing him yourself, you are missing out. So glad he picked me to spend eternity with.
