I noticed some similar pictures in my stash, and thought it would be fun to compare what 4 years can do!
For the white coat ceremony at the start of dental school, we were childless and me about 2 weeks away from delivering our first child.
Here we are at the end of dental school with #3 in the oven!

Friends!
Dental school would have been miserable if it wasn't for such fabulous friends. Nick and I agree that we couldn't have made it through without our family away from our family!

Commencing....dental school!
Sunday was commencement with the entire school. It was held in the huge Bradley Center and we were up in the nose bleed section. I don't have great pictures, but the celebrations by the dental students were awesome, and it was fun to hear Bill Cosby as their speaker.
Where's Waldo?! Dental class entering, Nick is 5-6 people in after the flag.
It was long for children, luckily Camille entertained herself well while Eleanor caught up on some beauty sleep.
Next we headed to a park on Lake Michigan to have a picnic party and stretch our legs.
Lastly was the diploma ceremony at the Pfitzer Hotel. It was lovely, even with the alcoholic sparkling cider they served us when we asked for sparkling cider instead of wine. Who knew there was such a thing? ;)
As you can tell, the kids were thrilled at this point. Honestly I was so proud of them for doing so well this weekend (along with the weeks prior and following graduation)! They survived on little sleep, little entertainment and little supervision and were great sports about it. So many changes in their little lives!
