Boo!

With a 2 week old newborn for Halloween we didn't do a lot of things, but we did manage to carve pumpkins and take the kids around the neighborhood to trick or treat.

I loved Eleanor's facial expressions while she scooped out the pumpkin guts.

It was a little cold outside, luckily we could get away without wearing coats to cover up their cute costumes.  Dr. Eleanor and Snow White.

Chchch changes!

I really have to hand it to my two girls for being so fabulous through so many major changes in their lives.  We moved 2,000 miles from the only home they knew, leaving behind all of their friends.  They spent many months back and forth between living at both grandparent's homes while living out of one suitcase each.  Their tired and pregnant mama didn't give them the attention they would have liked, then we moved into a home finally and 3 days later our baby comes and changes their lives once again.  These girls have had pretty unstable life the past year, glad they are such good sports!

Since I'm playing catch up still, here are a few pics of our last days in Glendale at one of our favorite parks.

Navuoo

Before we left the midwest, we took a family trip to Nauvoo.  We had so much fun and I can't wait to go back and spend more time there.  The girls were thrilled to stay in a hotel and it was a fun end to a day of driving to swim in the pool.

At Carthage Jail.  It was the most perfect, beautiful day and the tulips were in full bloom.  Amazing colors!

The window that Joseph Smith was shot through and fell to his death.  They have a wonderful video and a set of sister missionaries gave a beautiful story of his time at the jail followed by their testimonies.

At Nauvoo we got to do lots of fun things including an ox cart ride.

Blessed.

We blessed sweet little Winslow back in October.  This is the first baby blessing we actually took the time to take lots of family pictures, something I wish we would have done with our other children.

Almost all of the boys that have been blessed in this little blessing outfit.  So special to have something like that to pass down.
