Thanksgiving Part 1

I found some motivation today to start catching up with my blog finally.  I don't think it gets read by many, but I love having it to look back at and have a few stories and pictures to document our life and what we have been up to.  Thanksgiving 2013 we spent with our Wilson family.  It was our last hurrah with all of my siblings at home for the last time. Bittersweet as my parents had their house on the market and were about to move across the country after spending 26 years in Seattle.  I will miss the home I spent most of my childhood in and I will miss being close to my parents even more!

A few pics the week before we left:

Making pies with Grandma the day before Thanksgiving

Master chef in the kitchen....making her first german chocolate cream pie!

Power nap before the big feast

Checking out black friday ads.

These two were in charge of the mashed potatoes.

We made a fun kid's table and drew on their placemats and let them decorate them.  Grandma found some fun Thanksgiving coloring kits they enjoyed too.

I made some easy placemats for the adults that we could write down a few things we were thankful for.

Logan made some cute name tags for everyone

Some of the spread.   Yummmm

I love that my brothers are all so great with kids and genuinely love spending time with them.  I'm sure their wives love it even more :)

Tryptophan has set in, Courtney and Winslow settle down for a siesta.
