St Louis Zoo

St Louis has one of the best zoos that I have been to, and the best part is that it is always free!  So awesome.  We had a great time, I always wish we had one closer to us!

Eleanor turns FOUR

We celebrated E's birthday in St Louis this year!  She turned 4 and wanted a Strawberry Shortcake cake.  She has been making invitations and planning her birthday party for the past year now.  Next year we will plan a fun friend party, but this year was a fun party with family.  Love this cutie!

Thanks to my SIL Christina and her awesome cake making and decorating skills, we delivered on the Strawberry Shortcake cake.  It was both beautiful and delicious!

Of course a little help from big sister, what would we do without them?!  We sorted through a lot of family home videos from when I was little while we were at my mom's house.  The birthday videos were always pretty funny, all of the kids were always eager to help open presents and wanted a turn to blow out the candles if it wasn't their bday.  My mom was sure patient with us! :)

Big 3-2

Nick turned 32 this year, hooray!  We made him an oreo cake with cookies and cream frosting....which was sliding off the cake, yikes!  My cakes usually don't look great but they are always yummy! :)  Nick's bday was on a Sunday and we had a busy weekend so we went to see the new Jurassic Park movie the weekend before.

Sometimes Win decides to do the dishes all on his own.  I will be a lot more thrilled if he does this 10 years from now! :)

Fun in June!

The girl's preschool class visited an alpaca farm. They are the sweetest animals!

This alpaca was especially friendly.  She would sit down and let all the kids gather around her and pet to their heart's content!

Winslow was hilarious, he had no fear and would run right up to the animals and try to pet them.
