Oregon Coast

We had a fabulous camping vacay with the Wilson and the Johnsons to the Oregon Coast, with lots of pictures to boot. Here's a few for you to enjoy

Ready to start our road trip!

I love Brian and Christina's "cheesy smiles". I don't think they even planned this.

We stopped at the Tillamook Cheese factory. A must when you're going along Oregon Coast. Nick and Christina's first time.

Yum!

Brian's "tummy picture"

Whale watching at Depot Bay....we saw about 3 gray whales playing around the bay. So cool!

Check out the whale's back....unfortunately this is the best picture I got, even though we got to see more of the whales than that!

You can see him blowing from his blow hole!

At our family's favorite spot....Strawberry Hill.....for some awesome tide pools and sea lion watching!

The walking stick brigade....I love Nick's "walking stick"

Even Grandma made it down to the tide pools....despite having surgery on her legs just a few weeks ago

How sweet!

Sea anemones....have you ever touched one?

Nick has!

Cool dudes

The weather was fantastic, we ate lots of delicious camping food, relaxed, and had a great time being together. Everything I love---food, family, and camping! (not in that particular order, however priorites can change when you are pregnant!)

Camping at Fort Spokane

We went camping the end of June with Kevin, Natalie and their cute boys. We will certainly miss camping trips with their family, and hope to have more in the future in Milwaukee! The night we celebrated Nick's birthday with some cheesecake and had him blow out some tea-light candles, courtesy of Nat. Magical ;)

Blurry in-action shot

Nick wasn't quite ready to wake up that morning, but thanks to the summer heat it was already too hot in our "non-airconditioned" tent.

So he made everyone some fabulous blueberry pancakes and bacon for breakfast!

Kowen is ready to get his grub on

Ryker is too!

Frisbee!

Look what road we found on the way there!

Thanks for a fun weekend, guys!
