Photoshoot day!
love her dimple
When we finish a serious movie, especially a sad one, sometimes I like to joke, "ok let's watch the blooper reel now!" It's really not that funny and I am sure Nick is sick of it by now, but nevertheless I love film blooper reels. So enjoy my own blooper reel from our photoshoot. These make me smile :)
No pictures, please.
Whenever I mention some sort of "ouchie" Cam has gotten in the past, she gets really sad. Cam got a shiner on her forehead a few days ago. This is her "remembering" what happened.
This one is not particularly funny, but it makes me smile. When Elle gets really happy, she flaps her arms up and down. You come in to get her from her crib, flap flap flap! Daddy comes home from school, flap flap flap! This made it tough to get a picture of her smiling, because every time I got her smiling her arms were flapping all over.
Love my girls!

Valentine's Day!
I posted last year about why Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday. We continued our family tradition with a fancy dinner and dancing with daddy. With so many girls in our family we have to wait our turn, he sure is a hot commodity! :)
and just because she is a cutie, here is our little teddy bear!

6 Months Old!
Guess who is 6 months now?! I can hardly believe it. Here is what she has been up to:
- rolls all over the place
- got her first tooth last week
- gets up on her hands and knees sometimes
- loves to play with her toys
- generally a happy baby, unless she is hungry/tired/has a messy diaper, but who can blame her?
- takes 2 great naps, usually 2 hours each
- has good nights (waking up once) and not so great nights. Still working on consistency for night time
- can sit up for a few minutes at a time
- when I come in to get her from her crib, she gets really excited and flaps her arms up and down
- can't take her eyes off her Daddy when he is in the room
- likes to be wherever the action is, which is usually wherever her sister is
- gives us big, goofy, open-mouthed smiles :)
Weight: 13 lbs 8.5 oz, 10th percentile
Height: 26.5 in, 75th percentile
She has been pretty much right on with Camille's stats at the same age. Two peas in a pod, they are!
(oh how I will miss you, picnik!!)

Christmas time is here
I have always had a hard time writing or typing "Christmas". It usually comes out "Christina" or a mixture of the two. We had a great Christmas in Wisconsin. I thought for sure we would have a white Christmas, but we are still enjoying snow-free weather! I will take it as long as I can! :)
We have had lots of new changes over the past 2 weeks. Here are some of the highlights of our Christmas break so far:
and............
We are all ecstatic about both. Potty training was much better than I was expecting it to be. We are happy to be down to one child in diapers. Eleanor is excited to be moving around more and is still a happy and sweet little girl.
Here are some pictures of the rest of our happenings:
Admirals hockey game--Date night plus Elle. She was so good, everyone turned around after the game and said, "wow I didn't even know there was a baby there!"
Cam giving Elle a shoulder ride
3rd Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater party. I'll spare everyone their pictures on here and email them to you. :)
Making their gingerbread house
Oh the concentration...I love it!
A trip to a waterpark
Christmas Eve party with friends
New pj's on Christmas Eve
And of course, Christmas! After all sleeping in, we video taped Camille running out of her room in the morning. She ignored the gifts and went straight for the table to see if Santa and the reindeer ate the treats we left them the night before. We opened everything slow--I think it was 4:30pm before we finished. It was wonderful, I wouldn't mind making that a family tradition. Although I'm sure our kids would hate it when they were older.

After church, the gift opening commenced.
A sleeping bag!
What she asked Santa for--a cell phone
and a kitchen set. We will have lots of fun playing with everything!
