So unfortunately the only pictures I got of Nick on his birthday were in the morning when he was opening his presents in bed. Lame, I know. We had to move on his birthday, so after some presents in the morning the missionaries came over to help with the big stuff. When we were finally done we got cleaned up and I took Nick to dinner at Sho Gun. It is like Bennihana's if you haven't heard of it. It's a Japanese Steakhouse where a chef comes to your table and cooks your dinner right in front of you. They do all sorts of cool things like light the table on fire, and the food is AMAZING. Nick thought it was pretty cool too so I knew I had success. What he didn't know was that even when we went home at 9pm that the birthday festivities were not over yet. I pretended to get ready for bed until 11:45pm when I told him to quickly get his shoes on for one more birthday suprise. We went to the midnight showing of "Fight Club" at the garland theatre which just happens to be Nick's all-time favorite movie. He loved it and even though we were both exhausted, it was a fabulous day!
