Door County

For Nick's fall break we took a trip to the famous Door County with some friends.  For those of you don't know where that is, here's a blurry map of Wisconsin, and Door County is in red.

It's also know as the "thumb of Wisconsin" since it's shaped like a mitten.  It was a beautiful fall up there, and despite the rain we had a good time.

We were awful parents and once again indulged in her fear of scarecrows:

Here we are at the tip of the thumb

We went to Peninsula State Park which had some gorgeous roads along the water.  Here's a pic I took from the 75 ft lookout tower

It was quite the tower.  Can you see Nick?

If not, here's a close-up

Beautiful little lighthouse

And here's a few more fall photoshoots we had (don't worry there are more photoshoots to document still!)

This was the best pic we could get of the two princesses!
