Guess who is 6 months now?! I can hardly believe it. Here is what she has been up to:
- rolls all over the place
- got her first tooth last week
- gets up on her hands and knees sometimes
- loves to play with her toys
- generally a happy baby, unless she is hungry/tired/has a messy diaper, but who can blame her?
- takes 2 great naps, usually 2 hours each
- has good nights (waking up once) and not so great nights. Still working on consistency for night time
- can sit up for a few minutes at a time
- when I come in to get her from her crib, she gets really excited and flaps her arms up and down
- can't take her eyes off her Daddy when he is in the room
- likes to be wherever the action is, which is usually wherever her sister is
- gives us big, goofy, open-mouthed smiles :)
Weight: 13 lbs 8.5 oz, 10th percentile
Height: 26.5 in, 75th percentile
She has been pretty much right on with Camille's stats at the same age. Two peas in a pod, they are!

Oh my goodness she is so big! And SO adorable.
To answer your question about the lens- get the 50mm 1.8 aperture. It is only about $120 (cheap when you are talking camera lenses) and I use this lens 95% of the time. Also, get the nice brand- I am not sure what that is for Canons, but for Nikons it would be the Nikkor.
