I am 2 months old and loving life!

So apparently 8 weeks is NOT two months old. I had Camille's 2 month doctor's appointment scheduled for today only to find out that I was mistaken. On the 20th she will be 2 months officially. SO this is her 8 week posting instead. To celebrate being 8 weeks old, Camille decided to surprise me by sleeping 8 1/2 hours last night!! It may never happen again, but boy was I excited! She started the day out all smiles, that is until we were at the doctor's office and I told her she had to get some shots.....

As you can tell in the picture, she was a little nervous. After a few screams and tears, she quickly calmed down and was sleepy and wanted to snuggle all afternoon and evening. Poor baby. Nobody likes to see their child get shots!

Even with the shots, the appointment went great. Camille is growing well and is healthy and happy. Here are the stats for today:
  • 9 lbs 13 oz, 30th percentile for weight
  • 22 1/2 inches, 65-70th percentile for height

It's been getting colder during the day, and because I don't want to stop going on walks yet, I tried out Camille's snowsuit today to keep her toasty warm. Unfortunately it is enormous on her, and she resembles a little pink Gumby. A cute one I might add.

Don't worry her little arms and legs don't even come close to the ends of the suit!

Some wonderfully nice friends here threw me a baby shower last week. We had chocolate and cheese fondue and it was a fabulous evening of lots of chatting and no kids. :) One of the fun things Camille got was this cute little red umbrella stroller. We have a jogging stroller, but it's too big for shopping trips etc. Here is Camille trying it out before we took it to teach Camille the virtues of outlet mall shopping!

Some cute little boots from Camille's cousin

This is the first night we tried out our jogging stroller. We got a double so that we wouldn't have to buy a new one when we had another child. Little did we know Camille would just use it to go on dates with her boyfriend Alex! He is a hot commodity here being the only little boy in Nick's first year class. Camille lucked out

Camille showing off her mad skills holding her head up. I love how she is sticking out her tongue to concentrate! This was Saturday morning when Nick was kind enough to get up with her and let me sleep in a little. When I woke up she was enjoying some tummy time with dad, who had her dressed in her jean mini skirt. I think he loves her clothes as much as I do!

Oh my gosh! She is so adorable!!! I love all the pictures! Liam has a snow suit too, but its just about as big on him as it was on her. They are fun to dress. I wish there were more cute clothes for boys, but designers are getting there.
